The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989) - Discount Review

Heroes: Hulk and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear, and a cameo by Stan the Man Lee

Villains: Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin

Diabolical Scheme: One of the Kingpins thugs hit on a woman on the subway. She resisted. The men got mad and attacked her. Banner hulked out. Fearing for her life, the woman claimed Banner attacked her but his attorney Matt Murdock suspected there was more going on that met the eye.

Coolest Moment(s): Its hard to believe that Hulk is just a dude painted green. But Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk in action never grows stale.

Worst Moment: The whole title of the movie is a lie. Hulk only went on trial in a dream sequence. And daredevil should have been called dare-ninja. Also, where did Banner's beard go when he transformed?

Review in 50 Words or Less: At least it was better than Hulk Returns. While the actual plot was terrible and the trial non-existent, I actually liked Daredevil's character. Matt Murdock was leaps and bounds above either Donald Blake or Thor, even if his costume was pretty uninspired. Did I mention the Kingpin was John Rhys-Davies?
